Hello Parents/Guardians,

Here are this week’s updates:

Principal Message:
On Friday, June 3, all staff members in the WRDSB will be participating in a Professional Assessment Day. The school will be closed for students. Enjoy this time with your family and friends.

I would like to send a special thank you to Mrs. Sue Statz, Mrs. Amanda Gibson, and Mrs. Sylvia Pietras-Gorczewski for their continued work in the office. They are organized, professional, and caring. We are fortunate to have a great team to support our students and families.

~Andrea Michelutti

EQAO:
Our Grade 6 students will continue to complete the assessment on Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 7. We encourage students to come to school on time and ready to demonstrate their learning by having a good breakfast, drinking lots of water, and having a good night’s sleep. If you have any questions about the assessment, please contact your child’s teacher.

Family Fun Night:

The members of School Council have been planning for the upcoming Family Fun Night taking place on Thursday, June 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There are plenty of fun activities for the entire family. We are looking forward to seeing our community support this event. Thank you to our parent volunteers for organizing this event.

Please note: The parking lot will be closed for this event.
