Dear Families,
This has been a busy week for Basketball here at the Hive. The Boys’ ended a great season in a hard-fought game against Woodland Park. The Boys’ team worked very hard and should be very proud of their season. The Girls’ team are on to their semi-final game (here at JSPS @ 4 p.m. on Monday) against Groh P.S. Best of luck girls! Let’s hope for a win and then on to the finals next Wednesday. Remember to wear your Green and Blue on Monday, in support of the team!
A Few Reminders:
Next Wednesday, February 27th, is Pink Shirt Day (Bullying Awareness Day). Students are encouraged to wear a pink shirt to support this important cause.
Wednesday evening, we will also be holding our School Council meeting (6 p.m. – 7 p.m.).
Parents are reminded to return report card envelopes to their child’s classroom teacher.
Next week our Book Fair will continue Monday, February 25th through Wednesday, February 27th.

Finally, an update from our Dance-a-thon. With the help of our students and staff we were able to raise $5500 for our school. Thanks to everyone for a terrific day of great moves and great fun!
