Dear Families,

Thank you to our families for their support of our Family Fun Night. We had many wonderful volunteers who help organize the event. A special thank you to Chris Ryan, Meaghan Smith, and Kendra Gastmeier for all of their work organizing the event. We have raised over $5000 and that money raised will be used to purchase a scooter rack for our students to use.

On Friday afternoon, students in Grade 5 to Grade 8 had a chance to listen to guest speaker Brock McGillis talk about the importance of inclusive education, being kind and respect as part of Pride Month. Brock also spoke about the impact of words and how they carry power.

Congratulations to Nathan and Kalila for their stellar performance at the WRDSB County Track and Field Meet. Nathan earned a fourth-place finish in shot put and Kalila earned a third-place finish at the softball throw.

Thank you for a great week!

Andrea Michelutti, Principal
