Dear Jean Steckle families,
We’ve had another great week at Jean Steckle Public School. As we enter Thanksgiving weekend, our team at Jean Steckle is thankful for our outstanding students and families. We appreciate our students’ kindness, compassion and hard work – we are very proud of our students!
We are thankful for our families’ continued support and patience. This fall has been different, and during every change, our families have worked with our school to ensure the return to school has been successful.
We would also extend a special thank you and show gratitude for the entire team at Jean Steckle. Our teachers, educational assistants, designated early childhood educators, custodians, and secretaries have worked together to ensure students and families feel safe and supported. Thank you!
Wishing our families a Happy Thanksgiving! Looking forward to seeing our students on Tuesday.
Sincerely,
Shemira Sheriff, Vice-Principal and Andrea Michelutti, Principal
Indoor Shoes
Thank you to our families who have sent indoor shoes to school. If you haven’t already sent in a pair of indoor running shoes, please send them in after Thanksgiving.
COVID-19 Screening
Safety is a shared responsibility between the school, the home and the community, and families play a critical role in limiting the spread of COVID-19. We remind parents/guardians, students and staff, that they must screen for COVID-19 as part of their morning routine.
Please use the NEW COVID-19 Screening before school each day.
