Like any school, Jean Steckle is not immune to pediculosis, or head lice. Right now we have several cases of head lice in the school and while this is not a health hazard, it is nuisance. Students may not attend school if affected with lice. Once the child has been treated and all head lice, eggs and nits are removed, readmission to school is possible. Being proactive with regular hair checks (at the scalp) helps in mitigating the spread of lice. Thank you for your cooperation and diligence.
