Dear families,

Thank you to our families for another great week. I appreciate the support for School-Day and your willingness to work with the school when completing forms for field trips and purchasing items.

I am very proud of our STING athletes! Our Junior and Intermediate students participated in our Track and Field meet this week, and they worked hard. Congratulations to all of our athletes.

Have a great Victoria Day long weekend. Looking forward to seeing our students on Tuesday!

Fun Fair

Our Family Fun Night is fast approaching. On Thursday, June 8, there will be lots of great activities for all ages to enjoy from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Outside we will have TONS of activities such as a rock climbing wall, mini golf, a mini train, and lots of carnival-style games.

The Game Asylum video game trailer is back, so be sure to check that out. KW Gymnastics, Kitchener Minor Hockey, and the Kitchener Minor Baseball Association are all coming with fun activities as well!

Inside the gym, Let’s Talk Science will be running science experiments all evening, and there will be a photo booth set up for you to pose with your friends and take home a picture.

Oxford Learning will have a henna artist on site, and we will also have face painters and a temporary tattoo station.

Come hungry! Little Caesars will be there serving pizza, Harvey’s will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, and we will have lots of snacks – popcorn, cotton candy and freezies for sale.

We will be running a raffle as well as a silent auction, and there are some AMAZING prizes to be won! More details to come.

Finally, towards the end of the evening, we will set up a bake sale so that you can take home some goodies as well.

Wristbands will be available during the day Thursday, June 8th and all evening long. Each child participating in the activities requires a wristband. $10 gets them into all the fun and activities! (Food and drinks will be sold separately).

We are desperately looking for volunteers to help make this event a success. If you can help, please add your name to the Google spreadsheet. Here is the link
