Dear families,

Thank you to our families for coming to our first School Council meeting. We appreciate the support of our parents to ensure all of our students receive an excellent education.

Our students had a great week participating in Junglesport. A special thank you to Mrs. Tilt for organizing this fun, active event.

We are excited to share that the number of late students has decreased this year. Thank you to our students and their families for coming to school on time! Great work STING!

We had a great September, and we look forward to seeing our students produce great work in October.

Food Drive
This year the members of student council and We Lead will be teaming up to do a food drive this November instead of at Thanksgiving. The Food Bank always mentions how they have many food donations around the holidays, but they are often forgotten during the other months. We will provide more information in the next couple of weeks.

Strong Start

We are looking for volunteers for our Strong Start reading program. If you have an extra 30 minutes a week and would like to help a young student enjoy the love of reading, please email jennifer_evans@wrdsb.ca.

Terry Fox Run

We are excited to have our Terry Fox run on Friday, October 6. Please send in your Toonies for Terry. Students are reminded to wear running shoes and appropriate clothes for this event.
