Dear families,
In the light of the tragedy that occurred in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, we would like to demonstrate our support to the victims and families of this unimaginable crash. On Thursday, April 12, we are encouraging all of our staff and students to wear their favourite sports jersey. If you do not have a sports jersey, we encourage your children to wear something green.
We are not collecting any money. Please speak to your children so they understand that wearing a jersey on this day is completely different than what is typically a fun spirit day. The purpose of this day is for silent reflection.
On Friday, April 13, 2018, teachers will be participating in a PD Day focusing on School Improvement Planning for the full day. There will be no school for the students.

Movie Night
This year we will be showing “Ferdinand.”
Date: Friday, April 20
Where: JSPS Gym
When: Doors open at 6 p.m. Movie begins @ 6:30 p.m.
All students MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Please bring indoor footwear (shoes/slippers), blankets, folding chairs and reusable drink containers.
You may purchase a combo package in advance on School Day.
Tickets at the door: $2
This will be a great night! Hope to see many of you there!
