Dear Families,
We had another amazing week at Jean Steckle Public School. Our Girls’ Night In was a huge success as over 50 girls in Grade 5 to Grade 8 from our school and Janet Metcalfe PS came together to participate in many activities.
We also had our Kindergarten Information Night when we had a chance to meet all of our new students who will be coming to school in September. It’s exciting to see our future students ready to come to school.
We raised over $1000 for our Jump Rope for Heart event. Thank you to our students who participated in the event and to our families for their generous support.

Wheels on School Property
Thank you to our families for keeping all of our students safe by having children walk their bikes, scooters, and skateboards on the school property. We appreciate your support.
Junior Track and Field
On June 3, students in Grade 4 to Grade 6 will participate in our school’s track and field meet. Students who place in their event may move on to the Regional Track and Field Day which will take place on June 11.
Family Fun Night
Be sure to mark June 6 on your calendar for our family fun night. If you can volunteer for a 30-minute shift, your child will participate in a special pizza party. Please sign up on the volunteer sign up sheet. More information about the event will be shared next week.
School Council
