Dear Families of Jean Steckle Public School,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the students, staff and parents of Jean Steckle Public School for providing us with the most excellent start to the year. Each day it is a pleasure to come to work and serve this great community. The children’s smiling faces continue to be our inspiration. One of the most important jobs entrusted to a school is to assure that we guide and provide children with life and academic lessons that assist in creating a community of caring, kind and productive citizens. We will continue to work diligently in assuring that Jean Steckle Public School remains a safe and positive environment for your child. We truly appreciate the support that parents have shown and we look forward to the many exciting events in the new year.

Super Seasonal Sale
We’ve had a busy and exciting week at Jean Steckle Public School. On Thursday, our students went shopping at our Super Seasonal Sale and purchased gifts for their families. We raised close to $2000 – great work STING! A special thank you to Mrs. Austin and her students for organizing an amazing event.
Pizza orders for January
Pizza for the winter session can be ordered on School Day. Orders are due on Monday, January 6, 2019.
Winter Break
Just a reminder the school will be closed from December 21 to January 5 for the Christmas Break. We are looking forward to seeing all of our students on Monday, January 6.
Special Lunch Program
Elementary School Nutrition Services is pleased to announce that they will administer your Thursday hot lunch program for 2020. Thursday lunch options will rotate each week between Subway, Boston Pizza, and Swiss Chalet. Marble Slab frozen yogurt will be offered once per month. There are no changes to the pizza program.
You may begin placing orders immediately and the first special lunch day will be Thursday, Jan 16th. Please place your orders by January 8 to avoid disappointment. Our online ordering system is user-friendly and allows you to place and manage your orders when it is convenient for you. You can pay online with a credit card, prepaid credit cards or debit. Please do not send cash or cheques to the school. Please make your payment once you have completed your order. Any unpaid orders will be deleted from your account.
If you have provided your email address when registering, you have agreed to receive reminder emails and communication from ESNS.

- Click on the tab SCHOOLS
- Click on your school (Jean Steckle) from the list
- Click on the tab REGISTER
- Complete all the fields in the registration form
- Click on Children to add your student information – select their classroom from the drop-down menu – Add additional children if appropriate
- Click on the tab ORDERS
- Complete one order form for each child then proceed to payment Full detailed instructions can also be found under the HELP Tab
IMPORTANT ORDER, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
ORDERS – All orders must be placed 10 days in advance of delivery, as we must place our orders with our suppliers in this time frame. Emails will be sent to you to remind you when to order. Orders will only be processed if they are paid in full.
PAYMENTS – Please make your payment at the time of ordering. Unpaid orders will be deleted.
CANCELLATIONS – email support@esns.ca Orders that are cancelled after the orders have been placed with our suppliers will be credited at 50%. Days highlighted in red on the website indicate that these orders have already been placed with our suppliers. Our custom software does allow you to edit orders on your account that have not been placed with our suppliers.
SNOW DAY CANCELLATIONS If the school board has closed the school due to weather conditions all orders will be cancelled and a full refund will be posted to your account.
BUS CANCELLATIONS If buses are cancelled due to weather, all orders will be sent to the school. If you wish to cancel your order as your child will not be attending school, the regular cancellation policy of 50% credit applies.
Helpful Information Please ensure that you register your children in the correct classroom as this is where their lunches will be delivered. If your child is moved to a different room, please log in and edit your child’s information or contact us.
When you see the icon beside a product this means that there are options available for this product. When you select this product your options will appear. (Ex.
