December 8th, 2016
Dear families,
What a great week! Thank you to our families for their generosity with our week of giving. Our students brought in Teddy Bears for the Kitchener Ranger Teddy Bear Toss, money for the Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Club’s Turkey Dinners, items for the KW Humane Society, used batteries for the Zinc Saves Lives campaign, and food for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
We continue to have problems near the student drop-off area at the back of the school. Parents are reminded they need to drop off their children and then drive away. We need to all work together to keep all students safe.
Students in kindergarten and the primary grades are outside several times a day even in cold weather. Students need to dress appropriately for the weather: snow pants, winter jackets, hats, mittens, and boots. Don’t forget to label your child’s clothing.
