Dear families,

I am excited to share that the school is beginning to plan for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. In a few weeks, I will receive the number of classes based on the school’s enrollment as of April 6. My goal is to account for each and every student to avoid reorganizing our classes next September. If you know you will be moving before September 1, 2017, please contact the office immediately. Please encourage your neighbours to register their kindergarten age students as well.

If your home is not within our boundaries, we will be requesting you children enroll in their neighbourhood school. Unfortunately, the school is unable to accept any out of bounds students at this time. If you have any questions, please contact me at 519-748-1919.

Colour Paradise Gift Card Fundraiser – back by popular demand!

For the 3rd straight year, when you purchase a gift card through JSPS for Colour Paradise Greenhouses, a portion of the proceeds come right back to our school.

Were you planning to buy flowers, shrubs or vegetable plants this spring?  Or were you looking for a great Mother’s Day gift? Why not purchase gift cards from the JSPS School Council for Colour Paradise Greenhouses in $25, $50 or $100 denominations?  When you purchase a gift card, you get that amount to spend at Colour Paradise…AND Colour Paradise will give 20% back to the school.  It’s win-win!  If you buy a $100 gift card, they will give JSPS $20.

Gift card order forms are due on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017. Late orders will not be accepted

Place your order form and payment into a zip-top bag or an envelope so that it all stays together. PLEASE make sure your child’s name is on the order form.

Gift cards will be available for pick up on April 28th at movie night from 6-8pm. Cards not picked up will be sent home with your child the week of May 1st.

This year we are only able to accept cash. If you are uncomfortable with sending this much cash in with your child, we will have a drop off bin in the office.

The funds raised will go towards upgrading the gym sound equipment for events, such as the Canada 150 school play in May. Order forms will be sent out to classes by Monday, April 3.
