December 13th, 2019
Dear Families of Jean Steckle Public School,
Thank you for another great week at Jean Steckle Public School. A special thank you to Mrs. Smith and our volunteers for organizing the special lunches for our students.
Thank you to Mrs. Millar for organizing our lost and found display every Thursday night. Please stop by the display this upcoming week as we will be donating the leftover items on Friday.
Please remember the winter pizza orders are due by Monday, January 6 at 11:30 p.m.
Sincerely,
Andrea Michelutti, Principal
Super Seasonal Sale
The Super Seasonal sale will be held on Wednesday, December 18. It’s a perfect way for kids to go shopping for presents they want to give to their families and friends!
We are in desperate need of items to be sold. We will continue to accept items until Tuesday. We are seeking gently used toys and household items (e.g., books, toys, stuffed animals, baby toys, candles, purses, bags, ties, movies, serving platters, video games rated C or E,). We are also asking for wrapping paper, lots of gift bags, tape, ribbons, bows, and name tags.
Students will shop for gifts for family members and be proud to bring home a wrapped gift which they picked out! Items will be priced from $0.25 to $3. It’s a fun day! All proceeds will go to Sunbeam Lodge, a place in our community that supports children with medical issues. All leftover items will be donated to a local second-hand store.

Just a reminder the school will be closed from December 21 to January 5 for the Christmas Break. We are looking forward to seeing all of our students on Monday, January 6.
