Dear families,
We’ve had a busy and exciting week at Jean Steckle Public School. Our school was featured during CTV news at noon and celebrated our donations to Toy Mountain. On Thursday, our students performed in our holiday concert and they were great! On Friday, our students went shopping at our first Super Seasonal Sale and purchased gifts for their families.
A huge thank you to our parents for supporting our students and our school. We are fortunate to have such a great community!

Lost and Found
A lost and found display will be setup on Monday in the main entrance. Please look through these items. Any unclaimed items will be donated next Friday.
Last call for pizza
Pizza orders for the winter session are due on Monday. We are unable to accept any late orders this round.
Huron Community Association
Sign up has started for the Huron Community Association winter programs. Please register at kitchener.ca/activenet. Winter programs start on January 8 and include karate, dance, multisport, basketball, soccer, kids rock, lego, girls’ night, board games, Zumba, yoga, volleyball, and family sport. These programs take place at Jean Steckle Public School. For more information, please email info@huroncommunity.ca.
Winter Break
Just a reminder the school will be closed from December 23 to January 7 for the Christmas Break. We are looking forward to seeing all of our students on Monday, January 8.
