December 14th, 2018
Dear families,
We’ve had a busy and exciting week at Jean Steckle Public School. On Thursday, our students went shopping at our first Super Seasonal Sale and purchased gifts for their families. We don’t have a grand total yet but we raised over $2000 – great work STING! A special thank you to Mrs. Austin and her students for organizing an amazing event.
On Friday, our grade 8 students had a presentation on internet safety and security. We learned about the importance of privacy settings and maintaining an appropriate reputation when sharing photos or using social media.
We are looking forward to pyjama day on Friday. Please wear your pyjamas or blue or green to show your school spirit!
A huge thank you to our parents for supporting our students and our school. We are fortunate to have such a great community!
Sincerely,
Andrea Michelutti – Principal
