October 18th, 2019
Dear families,
Just a reminder that on Friday, October 25 the school will be closed for students as there is a PD day. Our teachers will be learning about effective strategies when teaching math and how to support students’ well-being.
What a great week! Thank you for your continued support.
Andrea Michelutti, Principal
October 24 – Backwards Day
On Thursday, our students will be participating in a school-wide assembly to learn about the importance of Teamwork. To show our school spirit, we are also having Backwards Day. Be sure to wear your best backwards outfits!
October 31 – Halloween
On October 31, students who are participating in Halloween may wear their costumes or dress in black and orange to school first thing in the morning. For the students who are not participating, we will be provided alternative programs in the library. We remind families that masks and toy weapons are not allowed at school. We also encourage accessories to be left at home as they are often forgotten at school.
School Council
Please join us in the library on October 23 at 6:00 p.m. If you are interested in being a member of the Family Fun Night Committee, it is important for you to attend this meeting.
